Easy Turn Non-Fitted Sheet

Designed to make Turning or Repositioning in bed easier

THE DESIGN: Our specially designed central “ comfort section” is a uniquely woven breathable material that reduces friction and shear when turning. The central “comfort section” is very smooth in the East-West direction on the bed while providing resistance in the North-South direction. This special fabric design will help to discourage a patient from moving down to the foot of the bed. The outer edge of the EasyTurn has a “grip surface” to make getting into or out of bed much easier.

There are no special handling instructions – the EasyTurn can be washed and reused over and over again.

WHO CAN BENEFIT: People who use the EasyTurn typically have either “Minor Mobility” or “Severe Mobility” limitations. Here are our suggestions:

• People with “Minor Mobility” limitations (Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Pregnancy, Joint pain, etc…) should lay down directly on the EasyTurn to more independently move in bed. The smooth material will make turning or simply moving a few inches virtually effortless.

• People with “Severe Mobility” limitations (Post-operative recovery, Paraplegic, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke victim, Amputee, etc…) should lay down on a draw sheet or draw pad (placed directly on top of the EasyTurn comfort section). When it is time to assist the person in bed with repositioning, the Caretaker can gently pull the draw sheet or draw pad. The low friction surface will result in minimal stress on the patient’s skin and the Caretaker will reduce the strain on their back and shoulders.

Important: We recommend the Short EasyTurn (44 inches from shoulder to knee) for people with “Minor Mobility” limitations and the Long EasyTurn (58 inches from shoulder to feet) for people with “Severe Mobility” limitations
